Latest Updates from Our Project:

The Adventure Game Society
almost 6 years ago – Mon, May 28, 2018 at 12:43:06 AM

Hello Espers!

With many pots boiling as Origins approaches, I have the team's permission to share my my current kickstarter project with you. Many of you may know I own The Adventure Game Store, a FLGS in South Florida. We are concluding our fundraising for a games club and cafe next door, which we're calling the Adventure Game Society. This will be much more than a cafe and play space. Our plan is to foster a creative space that will teach game design, stream game news, reviews, interviews and actual play (including an Esper Genesis stream), and even publish.

You may be aware that Esper Genesis was largely put together in the back gaming room of my shop, and there are other game designs and projects that we hope to help along, some under the Alligator Alley name, and some for other independent designer-publishers.

If you're a fan of indie creators, or if you like to encourage game shops that give back to the community, or if you just like to consume content about gaming, please take a look at our project, and consider throwing some support our way. The campaign ends Monday night at 8PM Eastern.

If you're local to us, please take the time to peruse what we're planning to do for our immediate community.

Thanks for your time! We're done fundraising tomorrow regardless of how things end up, so this is the last you'll hear from us about this. Once the Society is up and running, you can expect to see some exciting things.

You can view the Adventure Game Society kickstarter page here.

Thanks again,
Brian

Hello Espers!

For those of you receiving the PDF version of the Core Manual, we will be using DriveThru RPG for distribution from this point forward. This allows us more flexibility to make timely file changes or additions available to all backers and purchasers.

Please check for an email from DriveThruRPG.com entitled: "Free Digital Download from Alligator Alley Entertainment at DriveThruRPG.com".

If you don't have an account with DriveThru RPG, the email should also provide a link for account creation.

Also available on the DriveThru page is the free GM Basic Rules, which we'll also be expanding and updating as future products are released.

As always, if you have any questions or concerns, you can post them here, or contact us via email, Facebook, or Google+

Hope to see some of you at Origins! Until next time!

Core Manual Release!
about 6 years ago – Wed, Apr 25, 2018 at 08:57:39 PM

Greetings, Espers!

First off, thank you all for your support, patience, and well wishes. Your excitement for this project has made the effort all the more fun, and we're proud to have had such a wonderful group of backers. We have some exciting news about the project and upcoming events.

Core Manual First Printing

As of last night, we sent out the files for the first printing of the Core Manual. They should be in the hands of our distributor, Studio 2 Publishing, within the next month, at which point we'll start sending out backer fulfillment. This also coincides time-wise with the Origins Game Fair, where we'll also be presenting the hard copies of the new book.

If anyone is going to be attending the convention and would rather pick up your book directly from us, feel free to visit us at the Studio 2 booth and we'll give you a product credit for your shipping cost. The team and I will also be more than happy to sign your copy for you.

The Collector's Edition with the signed bookplates are backer exclusive only, so those will all be shipped out directly. We won't have them available at the show.

Core Manual PDF Release

With printing underway, we'll soon have the digital PDF version available on DriveThruRPG. Those of you that have already pre-ordered the PDF or the hardcopy of the Core Manual should receive their PDF copy via BackerKit within the next 24 hours. As always with the digital downloads, if anyone runs into any issues regarding the receipt of the file, please let us know right away so we can take care of it.

Adventures and Accessories

Backers should also be receiving Basilisk Rendezvous, one of the first EG Crucible Corps adventures. In the upcoming weeks, we'll be sending out links to the GM's Basic Guide—which lists some threats both familiar and new as well as provide rules for creating alien NPC races and managing forge enhanced items—and the Crucible Corps Player's Guide providing rules for Organized Play and the available factions.

Origins and Gen Con Events

We'll be running EG events at both the Origins Game Fair and Gen Con. Origins events sign-ups are set to go live on May 2nd. Gen Con's site is already up and we're waiting for the EG events to pop up on their calendar. We'll have those posted on the EG website once they go live.

If you have any questions at all, please feel free to comment here or message us directly. You can also jump into either of the community groups on Facebook or Google Plus.

Thank you all so much again!

Until next time!
